Account & Login

QHow do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile tab → Settings (gear icon) → Account → Delete Account. All data (food logs, weight, sleep, group content, images) will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.View full deletion guide
QHow do I reset my password?
A
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password" and enter your registered email. You'll receive a reset link. If you signed in with Apple or Google, no password is needed.
QApple / Google sign-in isn't working. What should I do?

Try the following: ① Check your Apple ID or Google account settings on the device ② Force-quit and reopen the app ③ Restart your device If the issue persists, contact wellsy.support@gmail.com with your OS and app version.
QHow do I transfer my data to a new device?
A
Simply sign in with the same account (Apple ID, Google account, or email) on the new device. All data syncs automatically.

QHow do I delete specific logs?

Open the log detail screen and tap the delete button. To delete everything, delete your account.Account deletion guide
QWhat happens to my data when I delete my account?
A
Deleting your account triggers our Cloud Functions (deleteUserData), which removes all your data from Firebase. This is irreversible.
QCan I export my data?
A
In-app export is in development. To exercise your GDPR or CCPA data portability right, email wellsy.support@gmail.com (subject: Data Portability Request).
QHow do I request access, correction, or deletion of my personal data?

Email wellsy.support@gmail.com from your registered address (subject: Privacy Request). For GDPR requests, include "GDPR" in the subject line.

Features

QThe AI analysis result seems inaccurate. What can I do?
A
AI food analysis is an estimate from OpenAI API. Accuracy depends on photo angle, lighting, and dish type. Tips for better results: · Shoot from directly above or at 45° · Photograph mixed dishes separately For precise nutritional info, check the food packaging or consult a dietitian. This feature is not for medical use.
QHow many AI analyses can I use per day?

Free plan: 2 analyses per day. The count resets at midnight JST. Premium (planned): 10 per day.
QI'm not receiving notifications. What should I do?
A
iOS: Settings → Notifications → Wellsy → Allow Notifications (enable) Android: Settings → Apps → Wellsy → Notifications (enable) Restart the app after changing settings. If issues persist, contact wellsy.support@gmail.com.

Groups

QHow do I leave a group?
A
Groups → select group → Group Settings → Leave Group. We recommend deleting your posts/comments first.
QI was invited but can't join a group.

Check: ① The invite code (6 chars) is entered correctly ② The code hasn't expired (ask the group admin to re-issue) ③ You haven't reached the 3-group limit (free plan) ④ Your join request may be pending admin approval
QHow long are group posts visible?
A
Group posts are automatically deleted 24 hours after posting by our Cloud Functions. Comments, reactions, and selfie photos are also deleted at that time.
QA group member posted inappropriate content. What can I do?

Use the in-app report feature, or email wellsy.support@gmail.com (subject: Report inappropriate content) with the content description and date.

Premium & Billing

QIs there a premium plan available now?
A
Not yet. A premium subscription plan is planned for the future via App Store and Google Play. We'll notify you when it launches.
QHow do I cancel a subscription? (Future reference)
A
iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Wellsy → Cancel Subscription Android: Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → Wellsy → Cancel Cancel before the next renewal date. You retain access until the end of the billing period.
